For families with young children (birth to age six), West End Synagogue offers new and exciting programs. Shabbat b'Yachad: a Family Minyan is an innovative Shabbat morning service with song, movement, prayer and a visit from Rabbi Rose. Shabbat b'Yachad (Shabbat Together) meets every second and fourth Saturday at 11am beginning October 10. Beginning November 20, young families can welcome the Sabbath with a Ktoni Shabbat service and dinner every third Friday at 5:30pm.

In addition to West End's child-friendly Shabbat and holiday services, the Committee for Families with Young Children also offers a series of holiday preview programs. Each program is a multi-sensory exploration using hands-on activities, art, cooking, music and more to engage the whole family.
