How to take an aliyah, open the ark, hold a Torah, and generally feel at home on the bima.

This workshop in basic ritual skills is designed to give everyone the confidence to say ‘yes!’ when a gabbai approaches to offer you an honor. No one should feel they have to turn down an honor because they aren’t comfortable on the bima!

This two-session workshop will also include some personal stuff, like how to put on a tallit or how to lay tefillin, and will answer any questions that might seem embarrassing to ask in any other setting.

Sundays, August 12th & 19th -- 10:00 to 11:30 am   (That would be, session 1 on the 12th and session 2 on the 19th)

Tuesdays, August 14th & 21st -- 6:30 to 8:00 pm (Again, session 1 on the 14th and session 2 on the 21st)
